# Gregor Finger > 3D & mixed-reality work by Gregor Finger. Product leader and creative technologist, building AI-native products. The fastest way out of ambiguity is something that runs. Founded a company, built a department, shipped to production for IKEA and BMW. Gregor Finger is a spatial computing, 3d & mixed reality portfolio. The site itself is an interactive 3D scene; this file and /llms-full.txt are its text form. Contact: gregor@ordinary.space. ## Projects - [Ordinary Objects](https://gregorfinger.de/#ordinary-objects): Co-Founder & CEO, 2023–Present. Ordinary Objects is a platform to design and prototype spatial apps. The goal is to help designers ideate and build intuitive and delightful mixed reality projects. - [Ikea Studio (Place 2.0)](https://gregorfinger.de/#ikea-studio): Product & Design Lead, 2021–2023, for SPACE 10 + IKEA, at Bakken&Bæck. People have no shortage of ideas for better homes. What they lack are accessible tools to visualise and realise these solutions. As Spatial Computing Lead at Bakken&Baeck I led product and design on the next-gen AR app, an intuitive spatial experience that can be used within the comfort of your own home. - [Everyday Experiments](https://gregorfinger.de/#everyday-experiments): Design Lead, 2019–2020, for SPACE 10, at Bakken&Bæck. Everyday Experiments asked a simple question: what do next-generation technologies actually make possible at home, before the market has decided what they're for? I led concept, design and development across five experiments running in parallel, building one hands-on while directing the others through concept, production and launch. Two of them are below. Techno Carpenter used generative AI for furniture design in 2019, before generative models were a product category. Spatial Embodiment built a multimodal interaction system combining voice, gaze and gesture, years before that became a standard pattern. The rest covered machine-learning spatial analysis and home automation. - [Circle](https://gregorfinger.de/#circle): Design Lead & Creative Technologist, 2019-2020, for SPACE10 x IKEA, at Bakken&Bæck. To support IKEA’s goal of achieving 100% circularity by 2030, SPACE10 asked Bakken&Bæck to help develop a digital solution enabling small businesses to design, experience and explore their tailored spaces in mixed reality, while accessing the entire IKEA business range. - [BMW ProtoEnv](https://gregorfinger.de/#bmw): Design Lead, 2017-2019, for BMW, at IXDS (acquired by PWC). In close collaboration with BMW we created a platform that combines physical- and virtual components to prototype use cases, interior and exterior design. I lead discovery, technical explorations how to implement VR tracking systems on physical platforms and shipped V1. Later I lead development of V2 for automotive and V1 for motorbikes. ## Videos - [Ordinary Objects — spatial prototyping](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDSIZTc42G8): Ordinary Objects - [IKEA Studio (Place 2.0) Teaser](https://vimeo.com/1215789128): Ikea Studio (Place 2.0) - [Techno Carpenter - IKEA Everyday Experiments Teaser](https://vimeo.com/1215802854): Everyday Experiments - [Techno Carpenter footage of hands in app, chair being created by translating hand gestures into a shape](https://gregorfinger.de/media/tc/TC-Hands-Forming.mp4): Everyday Experiments - [Designed chairs output reel](https://gregorfinger.de/media/tc/Chairs-Gallery-reduced.mp4): Everyday Experiments - [Spatial Embodiement - IKEA Everyday Experiments Teaser](https://vimeo.com/1216057668): Everyday Experiments - [Interacting with the chair via gesture and voice cute accident.
